Prepare yourselves for a heartbreaking week of episodes on General Hospital. In the just released video promo from ABC, Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) funeral will bring with it sorrow and confrontations, while at the same time, after four years in a coma, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) wakes up.

The irony of it all is that one woman lived from the charitable contribution of another woman, who died after donating her organ. How Sam suffered a fatal heart attack has yet to be explained. Now her loved ones are gathering for the unimaginable, her memorial service.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is overcome with grief and is seated between her two daughters, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi). Meanwhile, Lucas (Van Hansis) is devastated over the loss of his sister as he tries to comprehend what could have gone wrong that cost Sam her life, since he was her surgeon. Making things worse is Sam’s son, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who rips into Lucas at the funeral, saying, “You were the one who let my mother die!”

As Port Charles is rocked with Sam’s loss, they are about to find out that she did not die in vein, because Lulu has come back to life, thanks to Sam, which brings with it the debut of Alexa Havins to the role of Lulu.
