EastEnders devotees are clamouring for the return of Kheerat Panesar, as actor Jaz Singh Deol embarks on a fresh acting venture.
Kheerat first made his mark in Albert Square alongside his brother Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) back in 2019, when they confronted Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) over a stolen car.
When Ben failed to return the vehicle, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) was kidnapped in retaliation, marking the beginning of Kheerat’s influence in the Square.
The Panesar clan, led by matriarch Suki (Balvinder Sopal), eventually settled in Walford permanently, with Suki attempting to maintain a firm grip on her children Kheerat, Jags, Vinny (Shiv Jalota), and Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha).

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Kheerat confessed his feelings for Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer), who was tragically murdered by her abusive husband Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) in September 2020, reports Belfast Live.
The pair had planned to escape the East End together before she was killed in a distressing domestic violence storyline.
Despite owning a pest control business, Kheerat wasn’t as squeaky clean as he appeared, dabbling in illicit activities with the Mitchells.
Regrettably, Kheerat left Walford in November 2022, taking the blame for Suki (Balvinder Sopal) over Ranveer’s murder and ending up behind bars, oblivious to the fact that Ravi (Aaron Thiara) was the actual culprit.
