Coronation Street set for devastating quadruple exit in horror death crash
Coronation Street spoilers have teased that there could be a quadruple exit on the horizon, with a horror car crash set to rock the cobbles and one character facing death
Coronation Street could be set for a week of heartbreak – with several exits hinted at on the cobbles.
After a chaotic week, one ITV soap icon might meet their end in a shocking twist, while another beloved character is facing a grim destiny in a tragic accident storyline.
Meanwhile, two other characters are expected to leave after the actors portraying them recently announced their departure from the show which has seen several schedule shake-ups lately. The drama unfolds next week when David Platt’s life hangs in the balance following his recent troubles with ex-prisoner Andy and criminal Harvey Gaskell.
Things escalate when David is threatened, and he is left battling for his life the following day. However, he’s not alone as pregnant Daisy Midgeley finds herself in danger ahead of her impending exit from the ITV soap.
As David gets intoxicated, he stumbles into the road, and his wife Shona Platt is terrified to see a car hurtling towards him. But as David steps onto the road, photos reveal the moment Daisy also emerges after storming out of the pub.
As she and David appear to collide, images show David pushing Daisy – likely trying to save her from the oncoming car. Suddenly, both Daisy and David are hit by the car, and left lying motionless on the ground, reports the Mirror.
Spoilers suggest David is dying in the middle of the road, bleeding out as Kit Green frantically calls for help. Daisy also seems to be in a bad state, as her stepmother Jenny Connor and lover Daniel Osbourne rush over to her with a nurse.
But will Daisy and her baby survive? Viewers are undoubtedly on edge, fearing that David and Daisy might meet their end following the intense scenes. In another twist, the Platts face more upheaval as Max Turner awaits his sentence after the recent fire incident.
Max confessed to starting the fire at his home, which nearly cost him and others their lives. With actor Paddy Bever confirmed to be exiting the show, it’s likely Max will be sent to prison – but what will his sentence be?
Meanwhile, we may soon bid farewell to Yasmeen Nazir, who reveals next week that she has been offered a job in London.
This comes after the announcement that Yasmeen would be leaving the show, with actress Shelley King stepping down from the role. It appears this is her exit storyline, with her final scenes imminent.
