EastEnders spoilers have revealed that three major couples could be set to split in upcoming scenes on the BBC soap

Next week, EastEnders is set to broadcast distressing scenes for three smitten couples, as secrets come to light and relationships crumble.
Queen Vic’s landlady Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and George Knight (Colin Salmon) have only been wed for a few months, having tied the knot in November 2024, but it appears their honeymoon phase has abruptly ended.
On Monday (June 9), Elaine continues to be upset over her husband assisting his ruthless ex-wife, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), at The Albert.
As they begin to reconcile their differences, Elaine presents George with a thoughtful gift to celebrate his boxing career – but another surprise soon follows when his son Junior (Micah Balfour) arrives at the pub.

Junior discloses that George had visited his mother, Sabrina, on Christmas night. It doesn’t take long for George to admit that Sabrina kissed him, insisting he rebuffed her, reports Belfast Live.
Elaine is once again heartbroken by George’s deceit and throws him out of the Vic. He sets off to find his son, but George is distracted by Cindy, who predictably offers him a shoulder to lean on.
They later share an embrace on The Albert’s balcony, which Elaine witnesses before retreating to the café.
Upon her return to the bar, Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) informs Elaine that George and Cindy departed together looking rather intimate. This prompts Elaine to make a shocking decision, but what will she do?
Over in the Square, a soon-to-be-married Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) is left reeling by an explicit video discovered on Alfie’s (Shane Richie) laptop.
She later confides in Jean (Gillian Wright), expressing her fears that Alfie has been viewing adult content, oblivious to the fact that it’s Tommy (Sonny Kendall) who has been watching the adult material.
As the week progresses, the truth about the laptop comes to light, and the couple start looking forward to their wedding day. However, their worries about Tommy cast a pall over their joy.
Alfie confesses that he’s botched several wedding tasks, leading Kat to voice her doubts and call off the wedding, leaving Alfie heartbroken.
The pair later convene to discuss their wedding, but will they go ahead with the ceremony?
Meanwhile, Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) is worried about her marriage when Patrick (Rudolph Walker) turns down an opportunity to reconnect with his wife and fabricates an excuse.
A distressed Yolande confides in Denise Fox (Diane Parish) about the state of her relationship with Patrick and her fear that things will never be the same between them.
