EastEnders aired dramatic scenes for Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) on Thursday (March 24) as her killer secret was finally exposed.
Fans of the BBC One soap will know that Nicola killed her son Harry’s (Elijah Holloway) ex-girlfriend Shireen four years ago, so she was horrified when Teddy (Roland Manookian) revealed he was about to begin a construction project on the site where she is buried.
Things got worse when Nicola found out that her accomplice Benji had planted evidence on Shireen that would lead the police to her. She then reached out to Ravi (Aaron Thiara) for help with moving the dead body, but he immediately refused.
As Nicola celebrated her birthday on Thursday, surrounded by her family, the businesswoman was left distracted as work on Paradise Park was set to start the next day.
Nicola urged Ravi to reconsider her mysterious job and offered him £10,000 to move something from a construction site tonight.
She continued to put her plan into action by asking Harry to borrow his van, while he remained unaware of what his mum had done to his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Ravi had a change of heart about doing the job and didn’t want to take the risk of being put in prison and away from his kids.
Nicola threatened to go to the police about Ravi’s drug dealing if he didn’t comply, which changed his mind. But Ravi was left shocked when Nicola revealed it was a body that needed moving, and an argument broke out.
At that point, Teddy walked in, demanding to know what was going on. Ravi instantly came clean, told him about Nicola’s shocking plan, and left them alone.
Teddy raged at this horrific revelation and a huge argument broke out.
Nicola revealed that she killed the mystery person four years ago as Teddy quickly connected the dots and realised that the body is Shireen.
However, EastEnders fans are sure Shireen isn’t dead as Benji didn’t kill her. However,
Taking to X, one fan predicted: “There’s definitely gonna be no body when they dig up the site and then Shireen will inevitably turn up in Walford later down the line #EastEnders.”
A second chimed in: “Do you think Benji is lying and her body isn’t at paradise Park.”
A third explained: “I’ve said this on Tuesday night. I’m convinced that Benji has either: 1. Moved Shireen’s body to a different location, or 2. like the Ravi and Eve situation – Benji kidnapped Shireen but let her go making Nicola believe she killed her.”
