EastEnders viewers have been left fearing for Jean Slater’s life following a worrying comment from her daughter Stacey
Next week, the BBC One soap is set to air explosive drama as a disaster strikes Albert Square and not everyone will make it out alive.
Following a recent conversation in The Queen Vic between Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) discussing Jean’s (Gillian Wright) whereabouts some fans now think she is set to be one of the casualties.
On Tuesday (February 11), Walford’s residents took a trip down memory lane as they gathered in the pub to watch an old episode of a gameshow featuring Arthur Fowler (Bill Treacher) and his wife Pauline (Wendy Richard).

When Stacey took her seat, Honey asked where her mum Jean was noticing she hasn’t be seen recently.
“Stacey, is you mum not coming”, Honey enquired. “Oh no, she’s not really going out at the moment”, Stacey replied before letting off an awkward smile signally something may be wrong with her mum.
Since arriving in Walford in 2004, Jean has become an iconic character and strong favourite among fans.
But Jean also suffers desperately with her bi-polar disorder leaving viewers worried for her mental health, and fearing she may be killed off next week.
Taking to X, one EastEnders said: “A bit worried about Jean after that episode tbh, Stacey saying she’s not going out much ect. #EastEnders.”

A second predicted: “Might sound weird but I think they’re gonna kill off Jean during the anniversary week…#eastenders.”
A third asked: “Hmm honey asking where’s jean, only for Stacey to say she doesn’t leave the house anymore … what’s going on? #Eastenders.”
“I thought I was interesting Stacy said she’s not going out much right now”, added one viewer.
“‘She’s not really going out at the moment’ and Stacey also said Jean was talking too much about Brian… could she be having an episode? #EastEnders”, said another.
